For your own reference, construct a timeline of your life. You may want to divide it into segments based on place, kinds of activities, pivotal events or any other scheme that makes sense to you.

For our March 12 meeting, write about one item from your pre-school days. Set the scene: When and where were you? Who was involved? What happened? What made this memorable to you? What, if anything, did you learn (then or later) as a result?

Bring your timeline with you as well as TWO copies of your pre-school story so we can share and offer suggestions. If you have a conflict and cannot attend, I’d be happy to pass your story around and get comments back to you.

Finally, after you’ve revised your story, be sure to share it with your siblings, children, cousins, and others who will find it interesting (and perhaps revealing).
