September topic:
Bio for an Ancestor You Never Met
Choose an ancestor you never met but one whom you’ve researched. Write a bio for that ancestor. Include the “skeleton” (i.e., b,m,d,bur) but also “put flesh on ancestral bones” by including stories you know about that person’s life and times. Be sure to specify, so far as you know, the 5 w’s + how: who, what, where, when, why and how. Include pictures and/or documents if available.
New date and location: From now on, we’ll be meeting at 10:30 a.m. on the FOURTH SATURDAY, still odd months except January, on the main floor of the Schaumburg Library. As you enter the main doors, you’ll see doors leading outside straight back from where you enter. Walk back towards those doors; you’ll find yourself in the “tutorial” area. Look for some familiar faces at a table with a “reserved” sign on it. Librarian Sharon can guide you if you need further help finding our group.
