Road trip to Madison, WI

Join other CAGGNI members on a research trip to Madison, WI!
The Road Trip Committee is planning a tour and research at the Wisconsin Historical Society, 816 State St., Madison, and nearby repositories.
This trip offers flexibility for your trip, including arranging your own travel and hotel accommodations.
A block of rooms have been reserved for our group at the Hampton Inn and Suites, 440 W. Johnson St., Madison, (608) 255-0360. Cost will be $259 per night for a King Suite with a king bed and sofa bed.
Thursday, Sept 28, is research on your own and can include the UW–Madison library and the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. Join other CAGGNI members for a casual dinner at Der Rathskeller in the student union, 800 Langdon St.
Friday, Sept 29, starts at 9 a.m. with a tour of the Wisconsin Historical Society Library and Archives. Librarians will be available for assistance following the tour.
The Library and Archives close at 5 p.m. Friday, and a group dinner will follow at Porta Bella, 425 N. Frances St., Madison.
Saturday you can continue your research on your own at the Society from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
The road trip is for CAGGNI members and their guests. Up to two nonmember guests are welcome to attend with a CAGGNI member.
Registered members and guests will receive a name tag, itinerary, attendee list and printed materials.
If you’re traveling with a spouse/partner who is not researching, they are welcome to join the group for any meals.
