Internet genealogical services include Ancestry, Family Search, My Heritage, Find My Past, WikiTree and tools useful to the genealogist such as AI. The Internet Special Interest Group intends to review questions about these services and have a dialog on the advantages and features of the services used by members. This complements the features available from computer programs such as Family Tree Maker or RootsMagic that exploit the online databases available from these internet services.
Today's Topic: Al will cover the subject of Samuel Adams genealogy and family history in this Internet SIG meeting. After discovering that Samuel Adams (1722-1803) was a cousin, Al looked up his history and discovered some fascinating details about how the Revolutionary War got started. It's a good story with heros + villains + supporting characters + plot + action + happy ending (sort of). It's almost Shakespearean.
SIG Lead: Alan Wilson
