This web site probably will not tell you the maiden name of your elusive 4^th great-grandmother, but it may provide you with “meat for the bones” of your Chicago and Cook County ancestors.  We will be looking at the links that are unique to the web site and the Newberry Library along with exploring some other resources associated with Chicagoland and Illinois that this site has to offer.
