Storytellers’ Topic for May 2019
“Lost and Found” (yes, this is a repeat!)
Did you ever lose something? Well, of course; that happens all the time: Where did I put my glasses? or Where did I park the car?
This month’s topic deals with more important kinds of losses. Think of a time when you couldn’t find something that was really important to you. Here’s a personal one: Where did I store my wedding dress? (This is NOT the one I’m going to write about, however.)
Set the stage:
What was the item?
Why was it important to you?
When/how did you discover it was missing?
How did the loss make you feel?
What did you do?
When/how did you find the missing item?
How did you react the discovery?
What, if anything, did you learn for the experience?
