Road trip to FamilySearch Library, Salt Lake City

Join other CAGGNI members on a research trip to Salt Lake City!
The Road Trip Committee is planning a tour and research at the FamilySearch Library, 35 North West Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
This trip offers flexibility for your trip, including arranging your own travel and hotel accommodations.
The library is open Monday, Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Tuesday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m. Special Collections hours (located on the 2nd floor) are Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
CAGGNI's visit will start Tuesday, Sept 9. Included that day will be a tour of the library. Librarians will be available for assistance following the tour.
There will be a group dinner on Tuesday evening. Wednesday will be research at the library on your own.
A block of rooms for Sept 9 and 10 has been reserved for our group at the Salt Lake Plaza Hotel, SureStay Collections by Best Western, 121 West South Temple. The cost is $110/$115 + tax per night. You can add additional nights for the same price, based on availability. The cut off for hotel registration is 30 days prior, and you can cancel your hotel stay 72 hours prior. You'll receive hotel registration information after you register for the trip.
A second block of rooms has been reserved at the Peery Salt Lake City Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, 110 W Broadway. Cost is $257 + tax per night.
The road trip is for CAGGNI members and their guests. Up to two nonmember guests are welcome to attend with a CAGGNI member.
Registered members and guests will receive a name tag, itinerary, attendee list and printed materials.
If you’re traveling with a spouse/partner who is not researching, they are welcome to join the group for any meals.
Registration for the road trip will close August 10.
